Letter to challenge a parking fine

Use this document to draft a letter challenging a recent parking fine issued by a local council. In certain circumstances, e.g. if the vehicle was stolen, the fine may be cancelled. Should the council refuse your appeal, you will still preserve the 50% discount on the fine for 14 days after receipt of their Notice of Rejection of Representations. Note that the letter is not suitable for hired vehicles or where you have parked on private land.
